Drew McGinnis is Assistant Director of Research at the Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy, managing editor of the Journal of Religion, Culture & Democracy, and a research fellow at the Henry Institute for the Study of Christianity & Politics at Calvin University. His academic interests include the history of Protestant ethics, American church history, and systematic theology. He is author of The Son of God Beyond the Flesh: A Historical and Theological Study of the Extra Calvinisticum; editor of The Mosaic Polity, by Franciscus Junius; and coeditor of On the Church, by Abraham Kuyper. He is also co–general editor of the six-volume Sources in Early Modern Economics, Ethics, and Law (Second Series). McGinnis earned his undergraduate degree at Truman State University. He holds an MDiv from Covenant Theological Seminary and a PhD from Calvin Theological Seminary.
